*Price Shopping Can Get You Into Serious Trouble
You’ve done the right research by typing in “dallas hardwood floors” but then simply looking for the cheapest price will undo all of your good work.
We’ve been doing this for a very long time and while there will always be someone who will do it for less, NONE and I mean NONE will do it “cheap” if they pride themselves on their work, install your floors properly and stand behind it for a further two years!
I have lost count of the number of times I’ve been called in to either replace or repair a floor because the owner wasn’t aware installing hardwood requires certain protocols to be followed. Not knowing this, they just looked for the lowest price…and ironically ended up spending more to get it done right.
So not only have we serviced folks in the Plano, Frisco, Dallas and surrounding areas for 17.5 years years but we’ve also helped many avoid scams and even some after they got scammed.
Nothing Can Replace Experience
Finding competent hardwood flooring installation in Dallas isn’t as easy as it seems. You must find someone who knows their stuff so you’re aware of what you’re getting yourself into.
When you hire me, you have someone on your side who has personally helped thousands of others just like you through this process.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed and/or confused, contact me. It’s just wise to get a second opinion especially when it’s as awesome as mine.
One Point of Accountability
Since I oversee every project, you’ll never be passed off to someone else.
Quality control is also a high priority of mine.
Look, you’re paying good money for a higher end product so you deserve quality installation.
Believe it or not, some contractors and installers will just show up, start installing the wood and refinish it right away.
We acclimate all wood floors, no exceptions. If you don’t want your wood flooring acclimated, find someone else because I won’t do it.
We also moisture test your slab in several areas prior to installation as well as the wood itself to ensure it is suitable to lay down. We verify the product and color with you since manufacturers do make mistakes.
We use the same polyurethane product for on site finishes for both coats. Others use a cheaper first coat because…well; it’s cheaper.
Small precautions like this make a huge difference in your overall experience.
It is a little slower yes, but your job is done correctly and it saves both you and I the time from having to return for do-overs.
The other thing to keep in mind is integrity and trust.
Clients trust my team and I because we know what we’re doing and have forged a great reputation in Dallas hardwood flooring market over the past 17 years.
We take transparency, honesty and personal integrity seriously and with the skills and knowledge to back up the installation work we perform.
In the end, you are purchasing an experience together with your new wood floors and that is something that simply cannot be price shopped.
Both Engineered and Solid Hand Scraped Hardwood
We know both types of wood very well and each one requires a specific installation technique.
Every method we employ for these two products is in accordance with the National Wood Flooring Association’s (NWFA) recommendations depending on the type of wood.
No shortcuts here so we can quickly move onto another job. We stay until it’s done right.
Another thing to consider – not only do we custom scrape a floor according to which direction and intensity you would like it scraped – we also do different finishes like wire brush and even custom staining whereby we mix stains until we get you the precise color you’ve set your heart on!
We are humbly amazing.
We’d be happy to hear your ideas and share any advice that could help the project along.
It could be as simple as which direction is best to run the wood in your home but these small items matter.
Then we’ll go through every single detail of your project with you.
I assure you, there will be several things you probably didn’t factor in that could greatly affect the overall time and money required to complete your project. Things that a lot of wood flooring contractors don’t disclose.
Then you end up paying a lot more in “add-ons”.
We do this thorough overview with you to cover your a$$ so you know what you’re getting into.
